Amber Riley Wins The Masked Singer Season 8 Grand Finale!
The former “Glee” star won the eighth season of the covert, celebrity-studded singing competition after having the “amazing experience” of competing as the fan-favorite Karp alongside fellow contestants comedian Nikki Glaser and country group Wilson Phillips on the Fox show. The competition sees celebrities disguise themselves and the judging panel of Ken Jeong, Nicole Scherzinger, Robin Thicke, and Jenny McCarthy try to guess their identity underneath their costumes.
The 36-year-old actress said to the audience at the event on Wednesday, November 30, after her true identity was revealed and she won the Golden Mask Trophy in The Masked Singer season 8: “This has been such a fantastic experience to be able to come out here and be completely covered and let my talents speak for themselves.
“The love I have for individuals and my desire for them to find healing and feel what I’m singing about. Since I bared my soul on this platform, I hope everyone can handle it.
The Edge of Glory by Lady Gaga, performed by Amber Riley to open the show’s finale, won over the audience.
Nick Cannon, the program host, said to her afterward: “We are on the tip of our seats. What a way to start the showoff!
Later, the singer of “A Moment” gave the crowd a performance of “Gravity” by John Mayer, which Robin dubbed “one of the best things we have ever heard on this stage.”
Amber Riley claimed that the comments made her feel “validated” in her job choice.

She told the judges that it just meant a lot to be validated. I’ve experienced a lot working in this profession; sometimes, you lose sight of who you are and need someone to remind you.
Amber exhorted her audience back home to “go for” their ambitions.
I want to stress that you should pursue your goals in life, she remarked. Even though the path may be difficult at times and rocky, it will be worthwhile in the end. Keep going, then.
Nicole was the only judge to identify Amber Riley accurately. At the same time, Ken thought it was Jennifer Hudson, and Jenny thought it was Jordin Sparks, and Robin thought it was actress Yvette Nicole Brown.
The singer of “BGE” described the task of performing on stage alone with her voice as “very cool.”
According to Amber Riley, a performer, “I use my full body to perform,” at Masked Singer told Entertainment Weekly. I dance and use facial expressions, so not being able to connect with others and relying only on my voice and movement was a massive problem for me. But it was knowing that my voice kind of speaks for itself that gave me some encouragement. And if I hadn’t done the show, I would not have been able to learn that. So for me, that was a reasonably great experience.
