Modest Mouse Drummer Jeremiah Green Dead At 45!
Just a few days after admitting he had been diagnosed with cancer, the rock band Modest Mouse has confirmed the passing of drummer and founding member Jeremiah Green.

“We lost our beloved friend Jeremiah today. He faded away as he lay down to rest, according to a statement the band posted on its official social media pages.
Please be grateful for the love you receive, give, receive, have passed, and will give. Jeremiah was mainly concerned with love.

Issac Brock, the lead singer of Modest Mouse, revealed on Instagram five days ago that Jeremiah Green had been diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing treatment.
On social media, Johnny Marr, a former guitarist for The Smiths and Modest Mouse, paid respect to his bandmate.

In 1993, Jeremiah Green, Brock, and bassist Eric Judy formed Modest Mouse. He contributed his drumming skills to the group’s first three albums: This Is a Long Drive for Someone with Nothing to Think About, The Lonesome Crowded West, and The Moon & Antarctica.
Jeremiah Green declared that he had left Modest Mouse on his birthday in 2003 due to chronic mental health difficulties. He consequently missed the release of the group’s critically acclaimed fourth album, Good News For People Who Love Bad News, regarded as its breakout work.

Jeremiah Green would only miss out on this one album because he joined the group again in 2004 and continued to record and perform with them until his passing.
Despite the band’s repeated lineup changes, the two most dependable members of Modest Mouse over the years were Isaac Brock and Jeremiah Green.
Issac Brock is the sole original member of Modest Mouse, who is still active due to Jeremiah Green’s passing.

Jeremiah Green passed away from cancer, as was already mentioned. After learning this information, his supporters are concerned.
