According to a source involved with the planning, the Biden team is trying to release the reelection announcement video on Tuesday, April 25. Still, President Biden has not formally approved the time, the source told CBS News.
This weekend, the president is traveling to Camp David with staff and family, and it is expected that this will be a big topic of debate there.
The most likely date is Tuesday because it is the anniversary of the day he declared his most recent presidential run, again by video, on April 25, 2019. However, a party official warned that the announcement’s timing and structure “could change.”
The operative said, underscoring the ambiguity of such a statement, “This has been a rolling piece of ice for a few days.”
According to a top Democratic source informed on the film a few hours ago, it is now in production. The insider claimed that the president has not yet approved the video.
The current version of the president’s campaign strategies, which have been hotly debated at the White House among his closest advisers and throughout the Democratic Party for several months, was first reported by The Washington Post.
