Savannah Guthrie And Hoda Kotb Celebrate A Milestone of 5 Years As Co-Anchors!
On January 3, Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb celebrated a significant accomplishment—five years as TODAY co-anchors.
Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie have had a fun-filled five years together since they made history as TODAY’s first all-female co-hosts on January 2, 2018.
In celebration of their special day, the couple put together a charming montage of happy times they’ve shared, including singing and dancing with J. Lo, channeling Elphaba and Glinda from “Wicked,” and portraying them in a Halloween extravaganza.
Additionally, they reflected on occasions they had previously covered as a team, such as the 2018 Winter Olympics and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s nuptials.
The two have undoubtedly grown close as co-anchors and friends, and as Hoda remarked after the montage, “We are in a relationship, OK? And let’s not overlook that.
As they celebrated their fifth anniversary on the program, Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb talked about their relationship on and off camera. Sheinelle Jones, Dylan Dreyer, Craig Melvin, and Carson Daly from TODAY joined them.
The things we display on television are entertaining, but Hoda stated, “The things I enjoy the most are the things that aren’t displayed on the television.” So many instances occur before the cameras turn on, and we get to be us; I’m just thinking of our morning – just this morning.
Savannah also paid respect to the co-anchor she adores.
We’re very fortunate. She proclaimed to Hoda, “You’re my soul, sister. “You held my hand five years ago to allow us to do this together. We agreed to do it, and it has been the greatest joy of our lives.
