According to the article on the American website covering news on electric transportation and sustainable energy, Zhu’s formal title is still vice president overseeing Asia/Pacific.

Reuters reported last month that Tom Zhu and his team from Shanghai have been visiting Tesla operations in California and Texas, sparking talk among colleagues that he is being prepared for a more significant role at a time when CEO Elon Musk has been preoccupied with his purchase of Twitter.
