The Crown And “Blake’s 7” Star Stephen Greif Dies Suddenly At 78!
According to his agents, Stephen Greif, who starred in Blake’s 7 and The Crown, has away at the age of 78.
In addition to Doctors, Coronation Street, Tales of the Unexpected, and EastEnders, the actor had a long career on stage and television.
He passed away on Monday, according to Michelle Braidman Associates. Its statement stated, “With great sadness, we announce the passing of our valued client Stephen Greif.”
During his lengthy career, he played a variety of parts both on stage and screen, including those at the National Theatre, RSC, and West End.

Greif, up in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire, graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art before joining the National Theatre Company at the South Bank and Old Vic.
He transitioned to film after appearing in several stage performances in the 1960s and the early 1970s, obtaining the part of space captain Travis in Blake’s 7.
Stephen Greif co-starred in the 1978–1981 television series with Gareth Thomas, Paul Darrow, Michael Keating, and Sally Knyvette.
