The king’s rule continues today! Tulsa King, a mafia/Western mash-up dramedy from Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan, just finished its first season on Paramount+. It was immediately renewed for Season 2 as it swiftly surpassed 1923 as the second-largest show on the network. In less than a day, Taylor Sheridan can create a hit show!
In the movie Tulsa King, Sylvester Stallone plays Dwight “the General” Manfredi, a mafia boss from New York City freed from federal prison after completing a 25-year term and is immediately transferred there to look for new illegal business prospects.
The charismatic crook quickly rose to power in Tulsa’s unorganized criminal underworld throughout Season 1, only to have his new empire threatened in the season finale when he was detained again.
Tulsa King Season 1 just concluded, so there aren’t many specifics regarding Season 2, but there are a few online hints about what’s coming. These are all the details we currently know about Tulsa King Season 2.

Given that Yellowstone has already given rise to two spin-offs with more in the works, Taylor Sheridan is in the business of creating entire universes, so there is a perfect chance that Tulsa King will also produce a spin-off in the future.
Tanya Giles, president of Paramount Global Streaming, said to Indiewire, “There’s always a possibility that there’s more to that universe and more to that story. The huge success we’ve had with Tulsa King and Sylvester Stallone opens up opportunities with Taylor Sheridan, who consistently mind works in terms of universes and backstories. It sounds good!
There was no information on the release date for Season 2 when Season 1 ended. Even the cast is in the dark about the show’s return date. Stacy Beale actress Andrea Savage told TVLine that the material available is “literally a complete emptiness.” “I wish I could share a tidbit with you.
Or perhaps I wish I could say that I was secretly withholding anything. Still, I’m not.” So be it. Keep checking for updates. We won’t believe it until we see it. Still, Sylvester Stallone recently admitted to Indiewire that Tulsa King might be his “swan song” as an actor as he shifts his concentration to writing and producing.
When Will The Tulsa King Season 2 Be Available?
We’ll let you know when there are any updates. No premiere date has yet been declared or even alluded to. On January 8, the Season 1 finale aired. The first season’s release date was November 2022, and it began filming this past summer.
We expect that Season 2 will debut somewhere in or around November 2023 based on the timing for Season 1 and the fact that Taylor Sheridan productions frequently move rapidly and primarily adhere to annual release schedules. Probably not sooner, possibly later (but still Sooner).
What Is The Plot of The Tulsa King Season 2?
Season 2 will likely pick up following Dwight’s arrest; however, what will happen in it is unknown. He is currently facing legal issues that he did not in Season 1, which creates fresh narrative opportunities.
That simmering issue will likely explode hugely next season because we don’t think Chickie will let Dwight disrespect him and leave the family so lightly.
