A member of the Moldovan women’s football team, Violeta Mitul, passed away at the age of 26. It appears that Violeta Mitul, a football player who represented her country on the world stage, lost her life in a tragic accident.
As a defender for the most of her soccer career, Violeta Mitul was awarded 40 caps for her country’s national team. Unfortunately, her untimely death at age 26 prevented her from being featured here at number 41. The circumstances surrounding Violeta Mitul’s passing are as yet unknown.
Violeta Mitul Cause of Death
Tragically, Violeta Mitul passed away in a hiking accident. The 26-year-old was slain on September 4 while mountain climbing with his Einherji Vopnafjörur teammates. In a statement released on September 5, club officials said, “With profound grief in our hearts we announce the tragic death of our player, team-mate, and friend, Violeta Mițul, who died in an accident on the night of September 4, aged only 26 years old.”
Violeta was the life of the party, cheerful and optimistic. She played football really well and was a reliable teammate. Her departure has left an incalculable void in our lives. Our hearts go out to her teammates and coaches. After the unfortunate death of Violeta Mițul, a member of the Moldovan national team, at the tender age of 26, UEFA conveyed their condolences to her family and friends.
