80s Pop Star Tiffany Survives Car Collision, Escapes Tragic Fate!

The possible catastrophe was avoided.

A representative for the 1980s teen pop star Tiffany, the singer was driving on Interstate 65 in Nashville last week when a tire from a passing truck rolled across the highway, collided with her vehicle, and lodged under the driver’s side.

“I’m extremely lucky and thankful because a major accident could have happened,” Tiffany, 51, told The Post in a statement on Wednesday.

Tiffany Darwish, to give her full name, may or may not have gone to the hospital.

However, her car is in terrible shape. Her representative claims the transmission was ripped apart, the front end was damaged, and the side panels were “ripped completely off.”

In 1987, Tiffany released her self-titled debut album, which featured her rendition of I Think We’re Alone Now,” which quickly rose to the top of the Billboard Hot 100.

Tommy James and the Shondells originally released the song 20 years ago.

In November, she released her eleventh studio album, titled “Shadows,” this fall, she will wrap up another leg of the “Shadows” tour.

As word spread of 80s Pop Star Tiffany’s car accident, New York Post tweeted,

After a long hiatus, Tiffany has returned with a new Instagram account and a YouTube series called “The Album Diaries.”

She discusses the impact of her life on her albums.

Tiffany was videotaped swearing at concertgoers in Florida in November 2021. Her performance was loud and off-key.

According to TMZ’s reporting at the time, Tiffany’s representative said the singer “had lost her voice and got frustrated with her performance,” adding that the singer “struggled to hit several notes during the gig, so it’s possible the fans were heckling.”

She later explained her on-stage “panic attack” to followers on Instagram.
