In a significant acc!dent that occurred in south Natomas on Wednesday night, one ad*lt, two children, and eight other people sustained serious or life-threatening injuries. Seven of the injured children were children.
According to the Sacramento Police Department, the collision occurred on San Juan Road between Binghampton and Bridgeford drives shortly after 8:15 p.m.
Investigators think there were 11 people in one car. At this time, it’s unclear precisely who was behind the wheel.
The two who passed away were three and five years old, and the other children range in age from three to eight. Police in Sacramento have identified the deceased adult as a 25-year-old woman.
The injuries sustained by the remaining victims range from serious to critical in nature.

At the scene, it appeared that a car had hit a curb and a tree. Witnesses at the scene told CBS13 that they saw the car crash and lose control before it started smoking.
According to witnesses, there were two ad*lts and several hurt children inside that car, and a number of bystanders ran to assist the occupants in exiting the vehicle.

Sacramento police, that section of San Juan will likely be closed until early on Thursday morning.
