Actress Zara Phythian of “Doctor Strange” and her husband, Victor Marke, are charged with grooming a 13-year-old girl and having se* with her.
In the UK, Phythian, 36, and Marke, 59, are accused of 14 counts of s*xual activity with a child.
According to a police interview at Nottingham Crown Court, the BBC reported that the woman claimed that the s*xual abuse started when she was 13 years old in 2005 and continued until she was 15.
The woman, who is in her late 20s and has not been publicly identified by authorities, gave testimony in court on Thursday.
Phythian and Marke have refuted the accusations. Requests for comment from the couple and their representatives were not immediately fulfilled.
According to the BBC, the woman claimed in the police interview that she looked up to Phythian.
In the police interview, the woman admitted, “I knew it was wrong, but I just didn’t know how to get out of the situation or say anything.” “I remember trying to copy Zara’s reaction at the time, because I looked up to her and tried to be like her in any way.”
The woman claims that Phythian gave her alcohol and convinced her to have oral s*x with Marke before the abuse started. Testimony, Phythian “coached” her to “get better at the sexual activity,” according to the Nottingham Post.

The woman claimed in the police interview that Marke threatened to hurt her if she told anyone about the alleged abuse.
When the alleged abuse allegedly occurred, Phythian and Marke were not married. Marke would have been 42 or 43 years old, and Phythian was 20 or 21.
According to The Nottingham Post, the woman testified that if the police hadn’t first approached her, she wouldn’t have come forward with the accusations.
She admitted, “I could never had made a report.” “I would have died with my shame.”

She claimed that having a child motivated her to speak out.
She remarked, “At that time, I had just become a mum and had no option other than to speak my truth and never allow it to happen to anyone else again.”
Phythian played a supporting role in the 2016 Marvel movie “Doctor Strange” and has performed stunts for numerous TV shows and motion pictures. She co-teaches martial arts with her husband.
