This is more than a summer fling! The relationship between Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula has survived reality show drama, cheating scandals, and postponed wedding plans. Since the premiere of Season 1 in January 2017, fans have been following the love story between the Summer House stars on Bravo. Cooke was the first to sign up for the show after meeting Batula in the summer of 2015.
However, the New Jersey native was featured in multiple episodes of the first season after he invited his love to spend time with him at his Hamptons house in July 2016. As of season 2, she was officially on the show with him. “We have watched every episode together, the good ones and the bad,” the Loverboy founder stated through Instagram in March 2019, while looking back at the first time Batula filmed with him.
“It’s not easy repeating the painful and challenging moments of our relationship every year, single episode, 8 months after it happened, but here we are. Happily engaged, and about to watch the debut of Season 3. Thank you to everyone for your love and support! .” I’m extremely selective about the men I date. In April of 2018, she explained why she doesn’t “give a piece of my heart to just anyone” on Instagram:
“I can count on one hand the number of long-term relationships I’ve been in, and I’ve only told three of those people that I loved them.” The Loverboy creative director said that she trusted Cooke and let him in because he had a “big and kind heart.” I admired you because I heard nothing but good things about you from [your] friends, and I saw how much fun you had at parties. She went on,
“I liked dating you because of the funny and entertaining antics you pulled while drunk, despite the fact that we were virtually strangers,” and because of the unintentional blackout date evenings. I choose you because you picked me, and the only place I’ll ever run is into your arms (but I will keep working out until I master that dirty dance routine).
The couple got engaged in September of 2018, but they have experienced some difficulties in their relationship. Their largest challenge was overcome when Cooke cheated on Batula, a fact he revealed to the world after the March 2019 debut of season three, in which he also revealed that the affair had occurred a year earlier. In response to Andy Cohen’s question on an episode of Watch What Happens Live with him in March 2019,
the Maryland native remarked, “Honestly, it’s going to sound cliché, we went through a lot together, and I’ve always been 99 percent sure.” “But when you go through some of those major hurdles and speed bumps and you keep it together as a pair, you’re like, ‘Holy crap, life is terrible, and she’s the one I want to be with,'” says the author.
Batula claimed that she was looking forward to the future with Cooke rather than dwelling on the betrayal that had previously plagued her life. When asked what she thought ultimately mattered, she responded, “I have the ring, I know that he loves me, the world has changed now because he’s serious about me, and I think that’s all that matters.”
Two years later, in October 2021, the couple tied the marriage, with Cooke telling Us Weekly exclusively that he had “goosebumps” before the ceremony. I was a nervous wreck, yet right then, everything seemed wonderful. The wedding in September of 2021 was “just how you want it to feel,” he said. There were several occasions during the ceremony that brought tears to my eyes, but I was able to hold it together. Summer 2015
Cooke announced in July 2021 that he had met Batula six years previously, shortly after her 24th birthday in July 2015. The Bravo stars began dating that summer.

In what was their first official Instagram post together, Batula and Cooke posed in neon ski gear, but the image was fuzzy. She captioned the photo, “Pretty much sums up my night | #apresski #faceplant.”

Batula and her fiance made an appearance on the first season of Summer House after being invited by Cooke to his Hamptons home on two separate occasions over the Fourth of July weekend.

This is my claim on you. Yes, you’re right, you’re my douchebag. One of my instruments. That chump. My frat boy want tobe lacks maturity. He’s such a jerk, my dear. This commitment-averse person I know. Poor inebriated me. Batula captioned an Instagram snapshot of her and her boyfriend, “My everything,” implying that he was the most important thing in her life.
Moreover, I adore you for everything you are and everything others say about you. Reasons why my heart is overflowing with gratitude include your ability to make me laugh, challenge me to grow, motivate me to work harder, cheer me up when I’m feeling sad, calm my nerves when I’m anxious or angry, accept me just as I am, and love me unconditionally. And that’s the be-all and end-all of it.
