One of the most well-known names in combat sports is Jon Jones, a former two-time UFC light heavyweight champion. The 26-1-0 career record of the youngest winner in UFC history is almost unbeatable.
If everything plans, the 33-year-old will soon establish himself in the heavyweight division after shattering countless records in the light heavyweight division.
Given that both of Jon’s brothers, Arthur and Chandler, have won commendable awards in their respective sports, it would appear that the Jones family is “athlete-bred.”
Who is Jon Jones’ Brother, Chandler Jones?
The Jones brothers’ youngest brother is Chandler. The outside linebacker for the Arizona Cardinals in the National Football League (NFL) is a 31-year-old man.
He graduated from Syracuse University, and in 2012, he was named to the PFWA All-Rookie team. The New England Patriots selected him in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft. From 2012 to 2015, he was the Patriots’ representative.

2014 saw Chandler win his first Super Bowl with the Patriots. His current team, the Arizona Cardinals, acquired him in 2015. He has played in three Pro Bowls, two First-Team All-Pro games, and one Super Bowl.
When addressing the NFL, Jon said the following about his younger brother:
“The nerves — all this stuff is exactly what I live for. I believe that I was born to do it. I believe my little brother was born to be a great football player.”

It appears that the younger child imitated his older sibling. The eldest Jones brother, Arthur, competed in the NFL as a defensive tackle.
Arthur, like Chandler, graduated from Syracuse and was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the fifth round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He played for the Ravens for three seasons, where 2012 he won his first Super Bowl.
Arthur was signed by the Indianapolis Colts in 2014 and played for two seasons before being released in 2017.
He joined the Washington Redskins in 2017, but he missed the entire season because of a dislocated shoulder. After the 2017 season, Arthur eventually made his retirement official.
Jon has only been able to watch his older brother in awe. Jon praised his older brother’s football and wrestling accomplishments when addressing the NFL.
“My older brother was born to be a great football player.”
“My brother is one of the best heavyweights in New York state wrestling history and I would wrestle him every day in high school and I would get my ass kicked by my older brother my whole life. So I’m very comfortable going against guys that are bigger and stronger than me.”

In an interview with Azcentral, Chandler stated that the three brothers constantly tested one another.
“I just feel like we all three pushed each other”
“We were very competitive. We still are. But I mean three brothers who all ended up being professional athletes? You always want to do better than the other brother, so the competitive nature, I think it helped make each of successful.”
In an interview with Mike and Mike, Jon made a similar point. Given that he was the smallest of the three, he claimed that his brothers beat him up. This is what motivated him to pursue martial arts:
“When it comes to size, I’m the smallest by far. So, I’ve been getting my butt kicked since I was a little boy and I just became comfortable with combat”
