Reality TV personality Larsa Pippen has spoken candidly about her breakup with NBA player Scottie Pippen and how it has impacted her ability to find love in the future.
In the first season of Real Housewives of Miami, she was a happily married woman to Scottie. Also, the couple had four kids together.
Larsa relocated to Los Angeles after her divorce from Scottie and grew close to Kim Kardashian of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Larsa and Scottie Pippen’s Divorce
On December 15, 2021, Larsa and Scottie’s divorce was finally finalized after three years. They decided to share physical and legal custody of their two youngest children in January 2022.
There were undoubtedly some hiccups along the way to their divorce. The divorce was still pending as of last season. As retaliation for Larsa’s attempt to get Scottie to sell their Miami home, he insisted that their youngest child, Sophia, return to Los Angeles.
“I was traumatised. If he doesn’t get his way, he punishes me,” Larsa remarked. “He’s like The Punisher.”
According to US Weekly, she dated NBA player Malik Beasley while they were apart. Beasley was still married, and Larsa came under fire for dating a married guy in the media and social media.
On the podcast Melissa Gorga On Display, Larsa reportedly discussed her desire for love.
Larsa explained: “I feel like I am kind of mentally in a place of, like, I was married to a really famous guy that was really cute, that had a good body that was really successful that gave me four gorgeous kids.”
The RHOM star continued, “So, where the hell are you gonna find a guy that can like, fill in – it doesn’t have to be all of those, but like, a few of those boxes. It’s kind of hard,” Larsa stated. “I thought it was going to be easier, to be honest with you.”
Larsais preparing to lower her expectations. “Once I started dating, I’m like – I’m gonna have to come to the realisation that I’m not gonna get it all. I had a great run. I had a great relationship,” she remarked. “You know, I was married for 23 years.”
