West’s former business manager, Thomas St. John, is requesting an extension to serve the musician and his company, Yeezy LLC, with court documents, according to a court petition acquired by the U.S. Sun. Thomas St. John, West’s former business manager, claimed that the rapper could not be located, and since then, social media has been ablaze with rumors about his whereabouts.
According to St. John and his attorneys, the deadline should be extended until the end of March 2023. A case management symposium is currently planned for April 2023. St. John claims that he was not paid for the guaranteed 18-month period of his employment with Ye. He was only supposed to be paid $300,000 for each of the three months he worked.
In January 2022, Ye allegedly grew “hot and violent” and “screamed” at St. John, telling him that he no longer wanted to collaborate with him.
It’s believed that St. John is having trouble finding West because he needs legal counsel.
The court record stated,
“A new law company representing the defendants was mentioned to us, but there was no specific point of contact. Later, we heard through news reports that the law firm named the new counsel had no connection to the accused. As a result, we could not serve the defendants via their attorney.
In general, it has been challenging for us to confirm Kanye West’s best current address. Despite our best efforts, we could not find Mr. West’s current residence address, so we haven’t yet tried to serve him physically. Instead, we have made several postal delivery attempts to him.
The document said that attempts were attempted to serve West at “three unique residences” in Malibu and Calabasas, California.
